Very Large - Scale Simulation of Physical

چکیده
This article surveys the relationship between computation and physics. It describes the past, present and future of how numerical data for scientiic computation is represented, manipulated and extracted from physical computing devices. Aspects of the theory of computation, computational complexity, computational physics and quantum computation are discussed, towards the end of understanding how computers are and will be used to gain insight into some of the most data-intensive and time-consuming problems in theoretical and applied physics.
